FARM STORY

MAYFLOWERS is a micro-flower farm/florist located in the small community of Julian, found in central NC. Flowers are grown in fertile soil on two, three-generation family farms, one started by my grandfather and the other by my husband's grandfather. Each farm is over 100 years old!

We offer unique floral arrangements, fresh and dried, for every occasion. These locally sourced, premium blooms are grown with love and gratitude.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Karen, the owner/farmer/florist here at MAYflowers. I have worked with plants as long as I can remember.

This lifelong passion was nurtured by my family, from my dad, who always had the most beautiful and bountiful vegetable garden, to my aunts, who loved planting, growing, and sharing all types of unusual flowers.

Teaching was my calling for many years, but upon my recent retirement, I decided to give growing and sharing flowers my all.

I can't wait to share the beauty of flowers and am grateful for the opportunity to grow along with and for you!
