The end of the regular growing season is upon us, so we are now only offering our local honey at the weekly wagon stand. We also take custom orders for our dried flower/evergreen products as well as our honey throughout the week. Check out our shop page for our latest offerings!

*Dried Flower Wreath Workshop #2*
***Due to high interest, I'm offering another wreath making class on Thursday, November 6, 6-8 p.m. This time, we'll be joining the best of both seasons using magnolia and dried florals to create a wreath that's beautiful whether it's fall or winter! FARM FACTS AND SERVICES
MAYflowers is a micro-flower farm/florist located in the small community of Julian, found in central NC. Flowers are grown in fertile soil on two, three-generation family farms, one started by my grandfather and the other by my husband's grandfather. Each farm is over 100 years old!
We offer unique floral arrangements, fresh and dried, for every occasion. These locally sourced, premium blooms are grown with love and sincere gratitude.

A Little about Me
Hi! I'm Karen, the owner/farmer/florist here at MAYflowers. I have worked with plants as long as I can remember.
This lifelong passion was nurtured by my family, from my dad who always had the most beautiful and bountiful vegetable garden to my aunts who loved planting, growing, and sharing all types of unusual flowers.
Teaching was my calling for many years, but upon my recent retirement, I decided to give growing and sharing beautiful
flowers my all.
I can't wait to share the beauty of flowers with you and am grateful for the opportunity to grow along with and for you!

Bloom Buckets
Interested in locally grown, seasonal flowers for a special event or bouquet bar? This option will encourage creativity and bring out your own unique style as you design your own bouquets or arrangements. With our unique florals and foliage, your event will be even more special and actually, one of a kind!

A la carte Wedding Service
Excited to have stunning, fresh from the farm flowers for your wedding without the need for full service? Planning a wedding can be very expensive! With our à la carte options, you can choose items to suit your budget while adding your personal touch. You will save time and avoid the pricey floral packages offered by many traditional florists. Our floral arrangements are one of a kind, carefully crafted, packed, and ready for pick-up the day before your special event. You can even choose buckets of blooms to create your own. Enjoy the beauty of beautiful blooms that reflect what's currently in season and your unique style!
FLOWER SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE
Want to enjoy fresh, unique flowers in your home without the hassle of shopping? Interested in giving a gift sure to please and one that will bring a smile to their face each month? You can do both and support your local flower farmer at the same time!
My spring/early summer, late summer/fall, and full season subscription services will be available again in 2026. Check back in during November for more details. Sign up and you’ll enjoy flowers grown with lots of love delivered right to your door or available for easy pick up.
*Each month’s bouquet will vary, depending on what’s growing in the garden. Designated days/times for deliveries or pick up will be provided. Delivery is included for those living within the SE Guilford area. An additional delivery charge will be added to deliveries outside this area.

MONTHLY HARVESTING
This is a busy time of year on the farm even though it's the end of the regular growing season! We're working on transplanting seedlings, pre-sprouting ranunculus, watering newly planted seeds/seedlings, chilling bulbs for planting in December, and clearing out/weeding beds. The work continues to ensure you have beautiful flowers in early spring!
*Blooms coming in early spring...tulips, ranunculus, sweet peas, larkspursnapdragons, stock, nigella, statice, feverfew, campanula, sweet William, and more!
